JHB TLM Mass Schedule for first week in December

The TLM Mass Schedule for the Cathedral next week is a follows:

Tuesday (2nd December) 17:30
Thursday (4th December) 17:30
Saturday (6th December) 7:30

The mass on Tuesday will be the first TLM in the Cathedral in more than forty years. A truly historic occassion.

Traditional Latin Mass in Johannesburg

The organising committee of Una Voce South Africa is pleased to announce that a number of masses in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite (Traditional Latin Mass, Tridentine Mass) will be offered during the month of December at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Saratoga and End Street, Johannesburg.

Dates and times are, at this stage, tentative. It is planned that three weekday masses will be offered each week. The Sunday mass schedule at the Cathedral is quite full but it is hoped that it will prove possible to have a low mass celebrated on one Sunday in December.

We wish to express our thanks to the Cathedral Administrator Fr. Shaun Mary von Lillienfeld who will be celebrant.
